David L. Martin, Esq., graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1986. He is a member of the New York State Bar and has become a respected member of the Matrimonial Bar. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and the Queens County Bar Association, and he serves on the Matrimonial Committee of both associations. Mr. Martin started his legal career in the Legal Aid Society for the City of New York, Criminal Defense Division. For three years, he worked as a criminal defense trial attorney, then he decided to open his own divorce and family law firm.

Mr. Martin has almost 33 years of experience and he concentrates his practice of law in the areas of divorce, family law, and criminal defense. Known as a tough litigator and a skilled negotiator, Mr. Martin has litigated hundreds of contested divorces and Family Court disputes, and he has a winning reputation. With his extensive experience practicing law in this area, he is familiar with all aspects of the court system, including the paperwork that needs to be filed, and he is knowledgeable about the judges who hear the cases.
Madelyne L. Mostiller is an attorney whose varied experience and background exemplifies her commitment and passion for helping people.
Ms. Mostiller began her secular career in the mortgage industry with HSBC Bank, USA. She left banking to further pursue her passion in serving the public, with a specific interest in serving at-risk youth and families. Prior to starting law school, Ms. Mostiller worked serving families as a clinical social worker trainee in Cleveland, Ohio, where she provided direct service to youth in the foster care system. During her time in law school, Ms. Mostiller provided direct service to families of youth and children who were medically fragile.
Ms. Mostiller received several honors at Hofstra Law School for her litigation skills and her dedication to community service. She was recognized as a Public Justice Foundation Fellow, received the Kessler Advocates Award for Intensive Trial Techniques, and the Pro Bono Community Service Award.
After graduation, Ms. Mostiller worked as a litigation associate at Berkman, Henocketal P.C. on Long Island. Ms. Mostiller also was appointed as Special Village Prosecutor for the Village of Hempstead.
Ms. Mostiller then worked as a special assistant corporation counsel for NYC Administration for Children’s Services for almost two years.
Ms. Mostiller recently joined the Law Offices of David Martin, Esq. where she currently practices all aspects of divorce and family law.
